Vacuum evaporation coating method


1, introduction


Vacuum evaporation is the process of evaporation or sublimation of the material to be coated in vacuum to make it deposit on the surface of the workpiece or substrate.


  1. The principle is to heat the raw material of the film to be formed in the evaporation container in a vacuum chamber to make its atoms or molecules vaporize and escape from the surface, forming a vapor flowing into the solid (called substrate or substrate) surface to condense and form a solid film.


  1. The shape of evaporation source can be made into different forms and different evaporation source materials according to the properties of evaporation materials and considering the wettability of evaporation materials.


  1. Main process flow


There are three layers of vacuum evaporation: primer layer (6-12um) + coating layer (1-2um) + finish layer (10um) pretreatment before assembly

The base material is assembled on a special hanging device to be fixed on the assembly line, and the cover plating of appearance and function is realized according to the design requirements.


Spray primer because the base material is plastic parts, there will be air bubbles and organic gases left during injection molding. The surface of plastic is not flat enough, and the direct evaporation adsorption is poor and not smooth. Applying a layer of primer will improve the adhesion of the coating and the surface is smooth and flat with good effect.
